Gullapalli turns Financial Knowledge into Community Impact

Saanvi Gullapalli is making an impact in the community and beyond. She independently created and taught weekend finance and stock market classes for students in grades 5–10. She developed her own curriculum, prepared teaching materials and incorporated real-world economic topics to promote financial responsibility and investing fundamentals. Through these classes, she raised $3,000, which she donated in full to The Salvation Army.
Last year, she was invited by CNBC to meet their investment team and toured the New York Stock Exchange.
Gullapalli has since been recognized by the City of Southlake, where Mayor Shawn McCaskill and the City Council proclaimed January 6, 2026, as “Saanvi Gullapalli Day” in honor of her efforts to promote financial literacy among students. She has also been featured in Southlake Style Magazine and City Lifestyle for her educational and philanthropic impact.
Building on this work, Gullapalli has launched a nonprofit organization, Saanvi Finance Academy, to provide free financial literacy education to students. She will continue offering classes locally and in Frisco, Texas, with all proceeds supporting charitable causes.
