The Flame Yearbook
After careful review by a professional judge, the CMS 2023-2024 yearbook has been nominated for a Star from the Interscholastic League Press Conference. Since 1925, UIL has honored journalistic excellence across Texas through ILPC contests. With this nomination, we are proud to count your publication among the best of the best. Hundreds of publications will be reviewed by our judges this fall. At that point, nominees will then move on to a second round of judging by a panel of journalism education professionals. Winners of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Stars will be announced at the ILPC Spring Convention in April.
With appreciation,
Alyssa Boehringer ILPC Director UIL Journalism Director
